Bioclimatic Aluminium Pergola with LED lighting and possibility of sliding glass, Ventanas VIP Torrevieja, Alicante, Benidorm
Have you ever thought about using part of your land as an area for rest and relaxation, or maybe just about installing a sunshade? But then you find you feel like sunbathing at different times of the year or retreating to the coolness of the shade on summer days?
This is where we find ourselves at a disadvantage: if the area we have is always covered in winter, we can’t enjoy the sun, but if it’s not covered, then it’s too hot during the long summer days. But just imagine that we can combine both options in one product, goodbye disadvantages, hello nothing but advantages! Such as coloured or white LED lighting, automatic closing when it’s rainy or windy, design, the possibility of installing loudspeakers, infrared remote control, control via iPhone or Android applications and another important option is the possibility of installing glazing, which means we can use the pergola all year round. Let’s take a closer look.
Introducing the bioclimatic aluminium pergola which has been designed to let you make the most of your home’s outdoor areas no matter what the season. This product gives us the chance to take advantage of the area we’ve covered with a pergola regardless of the time of year and the weather conditions, no matter whether it’s rainy, sunny, windy, cold or hot outside.
A new design that allows you to make the absolute most of your outdoor areas, and with a modern design. Now let’s ask ourselves where we prefer to spend our free time. On a comfortable sofa in front of the TV? Maybe, but lots of people like to be outdoors, enjoying a barbecue and spending time with family and friends in the garden, by the pool or on the terrace.
How often have you thought about installing a summer kitchen? Maybe it’s never crossed your mind, but we thought we’d just mention that it is possible with a pergola.
In addition to installing a pergola, it’s also possible to install a summer kitchen - lots of our customers make the most of their pergolas by installing a complete kitchen.
Just think, beneath a pergola you can install a stove, a barbecue or a kitchen with a large dining table.
You can also set up an audio system and entertain your family or friends with multicolour lighting. Or perhaps you’d rather have white or warm LED lighting, that's also perfectly possible with our pergolas. You can choose the colour you prefer from the RAL palette - as well as classic colours you can also choose imitation wood finishes. Please note that if you choose an imitation wood finish, it has to be carried out before the structure is machined.

The materials used in the manufacture of the pergola are of high quality. We use 6063 T5 primary aluminium, stainless steel mechanical parts and high quality plastic. This increases the service life of the pergola and makes it rust resistant.
The installation does not call for any construction work. Our staff will install the entire structure at the chosen location using mounting brackets and a basic tool kit, without the need for any complex work or labour. All our staff have been trained in how to install these bioclimatic pergolas; only these specialists are qualified to install them.
The pergola consists of a frame and movable elements, which, when closed, protect from the rain, and when open, let the sun’s rays through. The remote control comes with 4 pre-set positions, but you can also set a position that suits you better. The standard positions of the mechanised louvers are 0º (closed), 45º (for sun shining from the side), 90º (perpendicular to the ground) and 145º.
We install a rain sensor as standard, which is included in the price. We can also install a wind sensor to detect strong winds and automatically close the louvers to prevent wind damage. We can also install a snow sensor and yet another possibility is to install a motion sensor that turns the heating off when there’s no one inside the pergola.
Drainage. When the panels are closed, water passes through a special duct installed on a pole located at the lowest part of the awning. Resistant to winds of up to 175 km/h. This makes it possible to install the pergola in areas where there is a risk of hurricanes. The panels are moved by means of a 24v motor which is attached to a simple mechanism that allows all the panels to move simultaneously; the connection wiring runs through the inside of the frame. The shape of the louvers has been specifically designed to ensure that water drains through the side ducts of each louver in the closed position. The upper part of the louvers is flat and when the pergola is closed, the roof remains flat, although it always has a slope for water drainage purposes.
For added convenience, you can install sliding glass panels which can be retracted towards the sides at any time, allowing you to enjoy a cool breeze in warm weather while on winter days you can close the sliding glass system and stay nice and warm in a really pleasant atmosphere. If we also bear in mind that our pergola comes with machined louvers at the top that match the sliding glass system, it’s clear that our pergola can be adapted in all sorts of ways to suit your needs and comfort.
